Kim Moon-soo and Han Duk-soo Meet for Discussions on Candidate Unification
Kim Moon-soo, the presidential candidate of the People Power Party, and independent candidate Han Duk-soo will meet at 6 PM on the 7th to discuss the issue of candidate unification.
Both sides have agreed to reveal the meeting location in accordance with the scheduled time.

This meeting is drawing attention in the political arena as it comes amid Kim's declaration of a halt to candidate activities in response to pressure from party leadership for unification.
On this day, the People Power Party will conduct a public opinion survey of its members regarding their stance on candidate unification. The survey will take place through an Automated Response Survey (ARS) method from 9 AM to 9 PM on the 7th, with an additional call made once to party members who did not respond to the initial call.
In addition to asking about opinions on unification, it is reported that the survey will also inquire about preferred timing for unification around the Central Election Management Commission's candidate registration dates (10th to 11th).

Kim Moon-soo, opposing unification pressure, seeks to shift the dynamics through a meeting with Han Duk-soo.
The People Power Party will hold a general assembly meeting again on the 7th, following meetings on the 5th and 6th. The issue of unification between Kim and Han is expected to be a core agenda item.
The day before, during his scheduled visit to the Yeongnam region, Kim declared a halt to his candidate activities in response to the pressure for unification, and did not announce any other schedules aside from his meeting with Han.
Han Duk-soo is expected to attend a press conference hosted by the Seoul Foreign Correspondents' Club at the Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul, on the same day. He is likely to clarify his stance on the reasons for his candidacy, plans for constitutional amendments, and his views on unification with Kim. In the morning, he will announce his "first pledge" related to the science and technology sector at his election office in Yeouido.
