Actor Kim Moo-yeol delivers a powerful performance in ‘Knock Off.’ On the 20th, his agency introduced Kim Moo-yeol’s character in the new Disney+ original series ‘Knock Off,’ showcasing a charismatic prosecutor’s aura and passionate acting. ‘Knock Off’ is a black comedy genre.
It tells the story of a man whose life was turned upside down by the IMF crisis, transforming from an ordinary office worker to a global counterfeit market kingpin. Kim Moo-yeol plays the role of prosecutor Baek Jong-min, a member of a task force team that cracks down on counterfeits tracking down the massive counterfeit market.
Known for his tenacious personality and a unique way of thinking, he narrows down the investigative net. A representative stated, “Kim Moo-yeol reveals the dark ambitions of Baek Jong-min, who pursues his goals by any means necessary. His irreplaceable performance is expected to heighten the tension in the drama.”
Kim Moo-yeol has proven his versatility in portraying diverse characters this year, from ‘The Outlaws 4’ to ‘Sweet Home’ Season 3, ‘No Way Out: The Roulette,’ and ‘Wu Shi Wang Hou.’ ‘Knock Off’ will be released on Disney+ next year.
