Actress Kim Min-ju will wear a school uniform, taking on the role of a high school student. Management Soop announced, “Kim Min-ju has been confirmed to star in MBC-TV’s new Friday-Saturday drama ‘Undercover High School’ (written by Lim Young-bin, directed by Choi Jung-in).”

‘Undercover High School’ is a comic action drama about a National Intelligence Service agent who goes undercover at a school to track down missing gold. Kim Min-ju will play Lee Ye-na, the “Queen of Byeongmun High School.” Ye-na is the student council president and the only daughter of the director, Seo Myung-joo (played by Kim Shin-rok), at the prestigious private Byeongmun High School.

She is someone everyone envies, excelling in beauty, academics, and popularity. However, unbeknownst to others, she strives to gain her mother’s approval. Previously, she left a strong impression in the dramas ‘The Forbidden Marriage’ and ‘Connection,’ and made a successful screen debut in the film ‘The Silent Sea.’

Her agency noted, “Kim Min-ju is expanding her acting range,” adding that she will showcase a new charm by taking on a character with a different exterior and interior. Meanwhile, ‘Undercover High School’ is scheduled to air in the first half of next year, drawing attention as it marks Seo Kang-joon’s return after his military discharge.
