'Yumi's Cells' awakens the love cells once again.

The TVING original series 'Yumi's Cells' (written by Song Jae-jung and Kim Kyung-ran, directed by Lee Sang-yeob) presents its third season after three years. It tells the story of Yumi, who has become a star writer, and her cells that know only Yumi.

'Yumi's Cells' has been produced in seasons and has been loved for a long time. It has received acclaim for its innovative combination of live-action and 3D animation, as well as for Yumi's realistic and delightful stories about work and love.

The original cast is back together. Kim Go-eun returns as 'Yumi.' Director Lee Sang-yeob and writers Song Jae-jung and Kim Kyung-ran reunite as well. Additionally, young actor Kim Jae-won joins as the new male lead, 'Sunrok.'

In the last season, Yumi took on new challenges as a writer. She enjoys great success as a romance novel author, capturing the hearts of readers. However, love remains a challenge for her. It seems that Cell Village has temporarily entered a restful silence.

Just then, Sunrok appears before Yumi. He is the new PD of the Julie Literature Publishing House. He seems like a character dominated only by rational cells. However, he faces unexpected situations as he is in charge of emotional Yumi, whose cells are in turmoil. The pairing of an older woman and a younger man promises an interesting chemistry.

Jeon Seok-ho returns as 'Ahn Dae-yong,' the editor-in-chief of Julie Literature. He is Yumi's benefactor who helped her debut as a writer, and he is married to Lee Da (played by Mi-ram). There are also new faces joining the cast. Choi Daniel passionately plays 'Kim Joo-ho.'

Kim Joo-ho is the representative writer of Julie Literature and an outgoing, powerful personality. He is a new character not found in the original work and is expected to upgrade the drama's fun with his charm, which is the complete opposite of Sunrok.

Jo Hye-jung takes on the role of Yumi's assistant writer 'Baek Na-hee,' adding vibrant and bubbly energy. Mi-ram portrays Yumi's friend Lee Da, who shares an amazing chemistry with Yumi. Park Se-in transforms into Yumi's producer, 'PD Jang.'

There will also be special appearances from actors who participated in seasons 1 and 2. Sung Ji-ru returns as Yumi's supportive father, 'Kim Man-sik,' and Lee Yoo-bi shines again as the charmingly mischievous 'Lee Ru-bi.'

'Yumi's Cells Season 3' will be released on TV next year.
