Kim Geon-hee Addresses Martial Law During Correctional Facility Meeting
Kim Geon-hee, spouse of former President Yoon Seok-yeol, is reported to have expressed her views on martial law during a meeting at the correctional facility.
On the night of the 20th, lawyer Shin Pyung appeared on YTN Radio's "Shin Yul's News Face-off" program and shared the details of his meeting with Kim. Lawyer Shin is known to be a mentor of former President Yoon.
Lawyer Shin described Kim Geon-hee's health condition, stating, "She looked extremely thin when I met her on the 19th. Her wrists and hands visible under the hospital gown were nothing but bones." He added, "Her hands looked like the bones from an X-ray image. I think her weight might be under 40 kg."
Regarding questions about martial law, lawyer Shin conveyed that Kim had said, "How severe must it have been for my husband to implement martial law?" This statement is interpreted as her position on the ongoing controversy surrounding martial law allegations in the political arena.

Kim Geon-hee's Position on Former Representative Han Dong-hoon
Lawyer Shin also reported that Kim finds the root cause of the current situation in former representative Han Dong-hoon.
In response to the host's question, lawyer Shin said, "Mr. Han has been plotting a coup to overthrow the Yoon Seok-yeol regime and seize power since his time as chair of the emergency committee. Both Mrs. Kim and I believe that everything originates from Han Dong-hoon."
Additionally, regarding Kim's reported statement that "If Han Dong-hoon had not betrayed, an infinite glory would have awaited him," Shin clarified, "Mrs. Kim meant to imply that if Han Dong-hoon had not betrayed, he could have monopolized everything."
Lawyer Shin mentioned that Kim requested him to convey to her husband, "Please endure to the end and raise people." This is interpreted as Kim's belief that her husband will make a comeback.

Meanwhile, it is reported that Kim denied her statement that "If former representative Han Dong-hoon had not betrayed, an infinite glory would have awaited him," claiming, "Those were not my words."
According to the Kukmin Ilbo, Kim stated during a meeting with her lawyer the previous day, upon hearing the statements made by lawyer Shin related to former representative Han on social media, "What does that mean? Those are not my words." Kim claimed that lawyer Shin brought up former representative Han first, and she only asked, "What happened to former representative Han?"
She also emphasized that it is not true that she questioned lawyer Shin about President Lee Jae-myung or expressed a desire for her husband, former President Yoon Seok-yeol, to return to politics.
Kim is said to have been shocked by lawyer Shin's statements. It is reported that she asked her lawyer, "He said he was just there to console me, but why did he say such things outside? Do you know why he is doing that?"
