The OST of the Netflix movie 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' is creating a sensation worldwide.

On the 7th (Korean time), the U.S. Billboard published a chart preview article. The 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' OST (directed by Mega Kang and Chris Applehans) climbed to 3rd place on the Billboard main album chart 'Billboard 200'.

The ranking surged dramatically compared to the previous week. The album entered the 'Billboard 200' at 8th place (as of the 2nd) and rose 5 spots in just one week. This is the highest ranking recorded among movie OSTs released this year.

The 'Billboard 200' is one of the main Billboard charts. It ranks albums based on physical album sales, streaming equivalent units (SEA), and track equivalent albums (TEA).

The 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' OST recorded album units equivalent to 62,000 copies, of which 4,500 were physical album sales. SEA was 56,000 copies, and TEA was 1,500 copies.

The album contains a total of 12 tracks, including 'Take Down' and 'Golden' by the girl group 'Huntrix', and 'Soda Pop' by the boy group 'Lion Boys'.

Katz Eye also performed well, ranking 4th on the 'Billboard 200' with their mini-album 'Beautiful Chaos'. This marks their first entry into the top 5 since their debut.

'Beautiful Chaos' accumulated 44,000 album units during the tracking period, with 30,000 of those being physical album sales. SEA was 14,000 copies, while TEA was minimal.

The new album consists of 5 songs, including the title track 'Gameboy', 'Gnarly', 'Gabriela', 'Mean Girls', and 'M.I.A'.
