Netflix's 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' (hereafter 'KDH') has added a new record.
Apple Music announced the 'Daily Top 100' chart for the United States on the afternoon of the 6th, with 'KDH' OST 'Golden' claiming the top spot. This is the highest rank ever for K-Pop.
Unlike Billboard, which reflects radio, album, and digital sales, this chart is primarily based on actual streaming data from listeners in the United States. Therefore, it has high entry barriers for K-Pop artists.
Three songs including 'Golden' made it into the top 10. 'Your Idol' ranked 8th, and 'Soda Pop' took the 9th spot, proving the unyielding global popularity.
In addition, multiple songs charted, including 'How It’s Done' (12th), 'What It Sounds Like' (21st), 'Take Down' (24th), 'Free' (32nd), and Twice's 'How It’s Done' (98th).
'Golden' also topped charts globally, scoring number one in Korea, Australia, Austria, Finland, Germany, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, and Norway.

'KDH' OST has dominated global charts since its release on platforms like Spotify, YouTube Music, Melon, and Billboard. Notably, it achieved remarkable success on Billboard.
In the most recent chart (dated August 9), a total of 8 songs from the 'KDH' OST entered the 'Hot 100' simultaneously, with 2 songs ranking in the top 10. 'Golden' secured 2nd place, while 'Your Idol' achieved 9th place.
The 'KDH' OST album also reached 2nd place on the main album chart 'Billboard 200,' climbing one spot from the previous week. 'Golden' maintained its top position on both the 'Global 200' and 'Global 200' (excluding the United States).
