KBS is set to release a historical drama two years after 'The Goryeo-Khitan War.'

On the 14th, KBS unveiled a comprehensive trailer through its YouTube channel 'KBS Drama.' This showcased the drama lineup scheduled for this second half of the year and into next year.

The new epic drama 'Great King Munmu' (대왕문무) is coming. It highlights the history of the small nation Silla defeating Goguryeo, Baekje, and Tang Dynasty and achieving the unification of the Three Kingdoms.

It portrays a great leader who realized the value of 'national unity' amidst national difficulties. The drama raises the question, "How should we live in this era?"

Before 'Great King Munmu,' 'Twelve' and 'Good Days for Eun-soo' will be aired, which are action hero and human crime thriller genres, respectively. They offer entertainment in their distinct styles.

A related official expressed hope, stating, "As mentioned in the trailer with the subtitle 'It's becoming a hot topic,' KBS's Saturday-Sunday dramas will rise as a new force in the weekend prime time."

Meanwhile, the specific airing date for 'Great King Munmu' will be announced later.
