JYP's American girl group 'VCHA' is being restructured into a four-member group. Kailey (Kailey Seohee Lee) will be leaving the team.
A representative from JYP Entertainment stated in a phone call with 'Dispatch' on the 12th, "Kailey has mutually agreed to conclude her activities with VCHA."
They added, "This is a decision made after sufficient discussions between Kailey and JYP America," and requested understanding as they said, "We cannot provide details."
They also left a message of support for Kailey, stating, "We will sincerely cheer for each other's future."

VCHA was conceived as a collaboration project between JYP and Universal Music's 'Republic Records' (America2Korea). They made their pre-debut in September 2023.
The group originally consisted of six members: Lexi, Camila, Kendall, Savannah, KG, and Kailey. Kailey was the youngest member at 13 years old and held both American and Korean nationalities.
Last March, Kailey announced a hiatus from activities due to health issues. In December of last year, KG revealed their departure from the team and a lawsuit for contract termination against JYP.
KG alleged serious abuse and mistreatment by a JYP USA employee. JYP USA denied these claims, calling them "false and exaggerated."
Meanwhile, VCHA has not engaged in significant activities since their single 'Only One' released in March last year.
