Netflix's film 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' (directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhanz) has added another record.

According to Netflix's official site 'Tudum', 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' has risen to 2nd place in the global all-time top 10 films as of the 13th (Korean time). Since its release, it has accumulated a staggering 184.6 million views (calculated by dividing the total viewing hours by the film's runtime). The total viewing time amounts to 307.6 million hours.

Attention is focused on whether it can break the record of 1st place, 'Red Notice', which amassed 230.9 million views within the first 91 days of release.

'K-Pop Demon Hunters' is an animation centered on K-pop idols. It tells the story of the girl group and exorcists 'HuntRix' battling against 'Lion Boyz'.

Notably, the original soundtrack (OST) has gained worldwide popularity. HuntRix's 'Golden' recently topped both the UK and US charts.

Lion Boyz' 'Your Idol' and 'Soda Pop', as well as HuntRix's 'How It's Done', have also ranked on major charts.

Meanwhile, Netflix plans to submit 'Golden' for the 'Best Original Song' category at next year's Academy Awards.
