JYP Entertainment will be unveiling a new 7-member boy group next year. JYP officially announced their next boy group by opening their official SNS on the 22nd. They stirred excitement by revealing the start date of the debut album project. The new 7-member group ‘Kickflip’ will officially start their album project on January 1st next year.

The group name refers to a high-difficulty skill of rotating the board 360 degrees with the tip of the foot. J.Y. Park, the representative of JYP, attended the ‘2024 MAMA Awards’ held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on the 22nd and teased ‘Kickflip’.

In the video content, the phrase ‘in the final stages of preparation for ‘Kickflip’s debut next year’ was shown along with the silhouette photos of the seven members, gathering enthusiastic responses.

‘Kickflip’ embodies the ambition to break free from the old and advance forward, just like spinning the board around once to move ahead. They are set to kick off 2025 in a grand manner. Meanwhile, information about ‘Kickflip’ will be released sequentially through the official website as well as Instagram, X, YouTube, and TikTok.
