JYP Entertainment is strengthening its function as a comprehensive entertainment company. They have established a subsidiary.
On the 5th, JYP Entertainment announced the launch of its independent subsidiary, "INNIT Entertainment."
"INNIT" values communication as its main principle. It aims to deliver joy, comfort, and inspiration that everyone desires through its content. The company aspires to become a friendly and inclusive entertainment brand.
Park Nam-yong, the head of the Performance Directing Lab who has managed choreography for all JYP artists for over 20 years, and Yoon Jae-ho, who has been in charge of discovering new talents, marketing, A&R, and advertising for 19 years at JYP, were appointed as representatives.
INNIT Entertainment will be based on JYP Entertainment’s systematic training and management expertise. It plans to introduce actors and other talents with unique personalities and charms.
A spokesperson said, "We will expand the range of music genres, including K-pop, ballad, trot, and R&B, and launch solo artists, duets, actors, and other entertainers in various fields."
As its first project, INNIT will handle the management of entertainers discovered through the new KBS entertainment program "The Ddanddara," produced by Park Jin-young.
