Actor Jung Kyung-ho and So Ju-yeon are becoming public interest lawyers.

The production team of tvN's new drama 'Pro Bono' (written by Moon Yu-seok, directed by Kim Sung-yoon) announced the main cast lineup on the 28th, stating, "Jung Kyung-ho and So Ju-yeon's casting has been confirmed."

'Pro Bono' is a comedic human legal drama about a self-serving judge who ends up unintentionally becoming a public interest lawyer. This is the new work by writer Moon Yu-seok, known for 'The Devil Judge.'

Jung Kyung-ho will play the role of Kang Da-wit, a public interest lawyer who was once a judge. He was an influencer in the legal field, but after getting involved in an unexpected incident, he has to take off his judicial robe.

So Ju-yeon will portray Park Gi-ppum, a public interest lawyer who is passionate about law. She has a completely opposite personality to Da-wit and finds healing in helping good citizens who rely on the law.

The two join forces as lawyers belonging to the nonprofit organization 'Pro Bono.' They defend conglomerates and use the money earned to pursue justice, striving to help those without a home.

An insider stated, "Please look forward to the daily life of public interest lawyers fighting zero-fee, zero-revenue lawsuits, not in a mega law firm, but in a corner of a building that doesn’t get sunlight."

Meanwhile, 'Pro Bono' is set to premiere in the second half of this year.
