Actor Jung Il-woo has captivated the islands.

On the 30th of last month, Jung Il-woo held a fan meeting titled 'Ilwooasis – Spring, and Your Oasis' at Hitotsubashi Hall in Haneda, Tokyo, Japan.

That day, he offered the "Smile-woo" (fandom name) a truly oasis-like time. He moved the fans with various segments and thoughtful fan service.

When he appeared on stage, the fans fervently cheered. Jung Il-woo revealed his deep affection for the fans by stating, "I personally planned the title of the fan meeting."

He actively communicated with the fans through various segments and even took photo time individually with them. He shared stories while looking at the pictures taken by the fans.

Photos from a bazaar held last November also appeared. Jung Il-woo donated all the proceeds from that event, and he once again reflected on the significance of that day.

The hottest response came from his singing performance. He passionately sang 'Scarecrow', the theme song from the drama '49 Days', which he starred in back in 2011.

Finally, he read a handwritten letter. He expressed, "I felt how precious it is to look into each other's eyes and share our hearts in the same space." He added, "I will continue to be someone who can bring you joy and happiness in the future," ending the event with a heartfelt promise in front of the fans.

Meanwhile, Jung Il-woo’s next project is the Korea-Vietnam co-produced film 'Going to Abandon Mom', where he will play the role of 'Jung Min', the ex-husband of the protagonist mother, 'Hong Dao'.
