On the 25th, the production team of KBS-2TV's new weekend drama 'Splendid Days' (written by So Hyun-kyeong, directed by Kim Hyung-seok) released Jung Il-woo's first still cuts. Jung Il-woo plays the role of 'Lee Ji-hyuk'.

'Splendid Days' is a family melodrama that resonates with different generations, depicting stories of splendid days that unfold in various meanings, be it now, in the past, or in the future.

Lee Ji-hyuk is a character who clearly distinguishes between work and personal life, taking charge of both romance and career. At times, he appears to have zero empathy. However, he possesses a heart warmer than anyone else.

He is known as a 'tsundere'. Additionally, he is equipped with a sense of humor. Jung Il-woo adds his unique sly charm to the character of Lee Ji-hyuk, which is expected to inject vitality into the drama.

The stills capture everything from a trendy and neat suit fit to the pinnacle of self-management. Jung Il-woo delicately portrays Ji-hyuk's intricate inner world with just his gaze.

The production team stated, "Jung Il-woo has infused his own subtle interpretation and emotions into Lee Ji-hyuk. He convincingly depicts the character's inner psyche. We hope for high expectations regarding his performance."

Meanwhile, 'Splendid Days' is a follow-up to 'Please Take Care of My Eagles!' It is set to premiere on August 9th at 8 PM.
