Actors Jeon Ji-hyun and Kang Dong-won present an unprecedented acting synergy. The production team of Disney+'s new series "North Star" (written by Jeong Seo-kyung, directed by Kim Hee-won and Heo Myung-hang) unveiled the first set of stills on the 4th, hinting at the formidable presence of top-tier actors.

"North Star" depicts the story of Moon Joo (played by Jeon Ji-hyun), who has built an international reputation as a UN ambassador, as she tracks down the masterminds behind an assassination attempt on a presidential candidate. Moon Joo and the nationality-ambiguous special agent San-ho (played by Kang Dong-won), who must protect her, confront a colossal truth threatening the Korean Peninsula. The stills capture Moon Joo and San-ho caught up in a massive incident.

Amidst a storm of events, they seek truth amidst suspicion and vigilance toward each other. We can also glimpse the intricately intertwined characters surrounding them.

First, Deputy Assistant Secretary Anderson (played by John Cho) wears a stern expression among high-ranking officials gathered in the White House. Ok Sun (played by Lee Mi-sook) radiates an overwhelming presence. He is the chairman of "Asum Shipping," wielding considerable influence over Korea's political and business circles.

The prominent presidential candidate Jun-ik (played by Park Hae-joon), the calm and charismatic President Kyun-shik (played by Kim Hae-sook), and the competent prosecutor Joon-sang (played by Oh Jung-se) also appear.

With a unique cast and a well-crafted production team, "North Star" will release three episodes on the 10th of next month. Following that, two episodes will be unveiled every week, totaling nine episodes.
