‘Severe Trauma Center’ tells the story of genius surgical specialist Baek Kang-hyuk, who once roamed battlefields, taking on the task of resuscitating a non-operational severe trauma team. Ju Ji-hoon portrays the character Baek Kang-hyuk, who does not yield to injustice.

He becomes the ‘reckless angel’ who saves the neglected severe trauma team. Choo Young-woo plays the elite fellow Yang Jae-won, who gets recruited into the severe trauma team. Ha Young plays Cheon Jang-mi, a spirited senior nurse with five years of experience in the severe trauma team.

‘Severe Trauma Center’ is based on a popular webtoon of the same name. Director Lee Do-yoon of the movie ‘Good Friends’ and writer Choi Tae-kang of tvN’s ‘Adamas’ collaborated on this project.

Director Lee Do-yoon described it as a “prescription-like work containing laughter, emotion, action, and comedy,” stating that it is a hero story, an action spectacle, a human drama, and a comedy all at once.
