
The movie 'Zombie Daughter' (directed by Pil Gam-seong) will be released in overseas theaters as well. It is set for a global release aligned with its domestic premiere.
Distributor NEW announced on the 2nd, "'Zombie Daughter' has confirmed global simultaneous release ahead of its domestic release on the 30th. It is set to open sequentially in 22 countries."
The film will meet audiences in major Asian and Oceanian countries. It will start in Taiwan on the 1st of next month, followed by releases in Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei on the 8th.
Audiences in 12 Oceanian countries, including Australia and New Zealand, will also be able to watch 'Zombie Daughter.' The film is scheduled to premiere in Hong Kong and Macau on the 21st of next month.
The Hong Kong distributor Edko Films praised the film, stating, "'Zombie Daughter' showcases the chemistry among the actors and provides great immersion and emotion."
'Zombie Daughter' is based on the Naver webtoon of the same name. It tells the story of a father struggling to protect his daughter who has become a zombie. The cast includes Jo Jung-seok and Lee Jung-eun.
Meanwhile, 'Zombie Daughter,' which is expected to do well globally beyond its domestic release, can be seen in theaters nationwide starting on July 30th.
