Actors Ju Ji-hoon and Jung Yu-mi embark on a "hate" romance. On the 28th, tvN released a two-shot still of Ju Ji-hoon and Jung Yu-mi's characters in the new Saturday-Sunday drama 'Love on a Log Bridge.' The still captures a thrilling cheek-pinching moment, hinting at a narrative of persistent animosity.
'Love on a Log Bridge' is a romance like a war between arch-enemies. Seok Ji-won (played by Ju Ji-hoon), born on the same day and with the same name in the enemy's household, and Yoon Ji-won (played by Jung Yu-mi) reunite after 18 years.
The still reveals their unexpected reunion. The two meet on a log bridge as the chairman of Dokmok High and a P.E. teacher, respectively, from enemy families spanning three generations, heightening tension.
Particularly, Yoon Ji-won experiences a shock in her eyes upon seeing Seok Ji-won in front of her. Unintentionally, she pinches his cheek. Meanwhile, Seok Ji-won displays a baffled look.
The production team stated, "Ju Ji-hoon and Jung Yu-mi create synergy by sensitively responding to each other's acting. Their diverse and harmonious chemistry is expected to add excitement. Please look forward to it."
Director Park Joon-hwa helmed the direction. Director Park has consecutively hit successes with 'What's Wrong with Secretary Kim' and 'Alchemy of Souls' Part 1 and 2. Screenwriter Lim Ye-jin, co-writer of 'The Tale of Nokdu' and 'Love in the Moonlight,' joined forces.
'Love on a Log Bridge' premieres on the 23rd of next month at 9:20 PM.
