Actor Jo Jung-seok will present a comedic zombie film this summer.
The movie "Zombie Daughter" (directed by Pil Kam-seong) released a teaser trailer on the 21st. The clip depicts a father, Jeong-hwan (played by Jo Jung-seok), who begins secret training to protect his daughter, now the last remaining zombie in the world.
The video starts with Jo Jung-seok's playful performance as he mimics a zombie to escape a life-threatening crisis. Jeong-hwan visits a seaside village where his mother, Bamsun (played by Lee Jung-eun), lives to protect his daughter, Sua (played by Choi Yu-ri), who has turned into a zombie.

Jeong-hwan naturally subdued Sua, who was lunging at him. Their pet cat, Aeyongi, observed the interaction. Jeong-hwan's first love, Yeon-hwa (played by Jo Yeo-jung), also makes an appearance. Yeon-hwa expresses her disdain for zombies, saying, "Is there any zombie to kill?"
Jeong-hwan's friend Dong-bae (played by Yoon Kyung-ho) is scared of zombies but volunteers to be a reliable support. They embark on a serious journey to train the zombie daughter, starting with basic greetings, gymnastics, dancing, and not biting training.
Jo Jung-seok seamlessly transformed into a 'daughter-doting dad' with his relatable comedic acting. Each character exhibited a 100% sync with the original webtoon. The film promises to deliver delightful and warm laughter through perfect chemistry among the cast.
Meanwhile, "Zombie Daughter" is set to meet audiences in theaters nationwide this July.
