Actor Jinyoung has confirmed his appearance in a new drama. He will play the role of a music producer.
The production team of "Miss Granny" (script by Heo Seung-min, directed by Park Yong-soon) announced on the 9th, "Jinyoung is set to take on another defining character. He will play the role of Daniel Han."
"Miss Granny" is a drama based on the film of the same name. It is about a seventy-year-old woman, Oh Mal-soon, who transforms into a twenty-year-old named Oh Doo-ri and enjoys the prime of her life.
Jinyoung will play Daniel Han, a former leader of Ignis turned music producer. He is a multi-talented individual skilled in composing, producing, album concepts, and image mapping.
He gets entangled with Oh Doo-ri (played by Jung Ji-so). His appearance with a secret shakes up her life entirely, delivering a strong impact with his compelling performance.
The production team said, "Jinyoung is an actor who has been recognized for his solid acting skills. He will showcase a different aspect from the original movie," asking for high expectations.
Meanwhile, "Miss Granny" has finished filming and is awaiting a confirmed broadcast schedule.
