Jin of BTS is presenting his new song in a colorful way. Jin will release “Running Wild Remixes” at 2 PM on the 19th. It includes a remix version of the title track from his first solo album ‘Happy’. The album features a total of 8 tracks, including an instrumental, extended, band, ballad, holiday, Afropop, and UK garage version, besides the original.

The extended version repeats the final chorus once more, emitting explosive energy, and offers courage to run again after a brief pause. The ballad remix is arranged as a rock ballad with emotional piano and acoustic guitar, delivering a lingering feeling unlike the clear mood of the original.

The holiday remix is reinterpreted using bells, brass, and upbeat piano chords, giving it the feel of a carol and an end-of-year atmosphere. The Afropop track blends electric guitar riffs, deep bass, and trumpet performances, highlighting the distinctive, lazy rhythm of Afropop.

The album concludes with the UK garage remix, which combines the speedy beat of UK garage with a mysterious synth sound. “Running Wild” is a British rock-based pop-rock song with an impressive new wave sound and conveys a positive message of running breathlessly towards hope.

Released right after on the 15th, it performed well on global charts, entering Spotify’s ‘Daily Top Song Global’ at 8th place, marking the highest rank for Jin’s solo songs. That’s not all. It captivated listeners in Japan as well. According to Oricon’s latest tally (as of the 15th), “Running Wild” topped the “Daily Digital Single Ranking”.

Meanwhile, Jin will appear on NBC’s ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ in the United States on the 21st.
