'Super Tuna' is a self-composed song by Jin and Gaebeomju created in 2021. It was inspired by Jin's hobby, fishing. The song is characterized by its catchy melody and witty lyrics.
After its official release in 2022, the song topped the U.S. Billboard's 'World Digital Song Sales' and 'Digital Song Sales' charts. It has been on the 'Hot Trending Songs' chart for 45 weeks.
After the '2024 Festa' in June, it re-emerged as No.1 on the World Digital Song Sales (as of June 22). Jin performed 'Super Tuna' live for the first time in front of fans then.
The performance video was also a hit. It became the most popular video on YouTube worldwide as soon as it opened. Global challenges continued endlessly across various social media platforms like TikTok.
The 'Super Tuna' (Special Performance Video) surpassed 100 million views as of the 2nd of last month. Though not an official MV, it reached this milestone about three years after its release.
