Jin, ‘Close to You’ Global Popularity… No. 1 on ‘World Digital Song Sales’

BTS's Jin captivated global fans with his drama OST. Billboard released the latest chart (as of February 8) on the 4th (local time). Jin's OST for tvN's "Ask the Stars," titled "Close to You," debuted at No. 1 on the World Digital Song Sales chart and No. 9 on the Digital Song Sales chart.

In the latest UK Official Chart, the song ranked No. 20 in 'Single Downloads' and No. 22 in 'Single Sales.' Jin's solo album "Happy," released last November, ranked No. 15 on the World Albums chart, while the title track "Running Wild" placed at No. 129 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart.

The song highlights Jin's clear voice and delicate expression. The lyrics depict a journey through the endless space-time of the universe to reach a loved one.

Other members' solo works are also receiving a lot of love. Jimin's second solo album "Muse" is cruising at No. 115 on the main album chart 'Billboard 200,' and the title track "Who" stands at No. 31 on the main song chart 'Hot 100.'

Jungkook's solo single "Seven" ranks No. 65 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 96 on the Global 200, marking 81 and 80 weeks on the charts respectively, a record for K-pop solo artists.

V's "Winter Ahead" is ranked No. 165 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart. BTS's anthology album "Proof" is No. 6 on the World Albums chart, having spent a total of 138 weeks on the chart.
