'BTS' Jimin is maintaining strong popularity on global charts.
The UK Official Chart announced the latest chart on the 9th (local time). Jimin's second solo album 'MUSE' title track 'Who' ranked 25th, marking three consecutive weeks on the chart.
He also performed well on detailed charts. He achieved the feat of topping both the 'Singles Sales' and 'Singles Downloads' charts for three consecutive weeks. He also placed in the top ranks in 'Physical Singles Sales' (8th place).
Jimin is expected to have long-term success on Spotify as well. 'Who' topped Spotify's 'Weekly Top Songs Global' (aggregation period: August 2-8) on the 9th, maintaining its number one position for three consecutive weeks.
That's not all. On the 'Daily Top Songs Global,' it maintained the number one spot for 15 days straight (from July 23 to August 6). Although it briefly lost the top spot to Billie Eilish on the 7th, it reclaimed the number one position within a day.
'MUSE' was released on the 19th of last month. It candidly narrates the process of finding inspiration surrounding 'oneself.' It topped the 'Top Albums' chart in 87 countries/regions on iTunes immediately upon release.
The title song 'Who' is a hip-hop R&B genre track. It conveys a poignant situation and confused emotions of longing for someone never met.
This song climbed two places to rank 12th on the latest US Billboard main song chart 'Hot 100' (dated August 10), achieving its highest position to date.
