Jimin of 'BTS' has once again proven his global popularity.
On the 19th at 1 PM Korean time, Jimin released the title track 'Who' from his second solo album 'MUSE' on worldwide music sites.
This song topped the iTunes 'Top Song' chart in 112 countries/regions as of 9 AM on the 20th. Among these countries were the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Germany.
'Who' also reached the top of the 'Worldwide iTunes Song' and 'European iTunes Song' charts. Global listeners continue to give rave reviews.
In particular, Jimin succeeded in dominating the 'Worldwide iTunes Song' chart. Six out of the seven songs on his new album ranked in the top 10 positions.
These include 'Who' (1st), 'Be Mine' (3rd), 'Slow Dance' (4th), 'Rebirth' (5th), 'Interlude: Showtime' (7th), and 'Closer Than This' (8th).
In the US iTunes Top Songs chart, 'Who' (1st), 'Be Mine' (5th), 'Slow Dance' (6th), 'Rebirth' (7th), and 'Interlude: Showtime' (10th) dominated the chart.
The included track 'Smeraldo Garden Marching Band' successfully entered the upper ranks of the 'Top Song' charts in several countries/regions.
The album chart also fared well. 'MUSE' reached number one on the iTunes 'Top Albums' chart in 87 countries/regions. It also topped the 'Worldwide iTunes Album' and 'European iTunes Album' charts.
'MUSE' is an album that captures the journey of finding inspiration that surrounds me. Jimin participated in the production of six tracks and produced two of them.
'Who' is a hip-hop R&B genre song that sings about the tender and confused emotions of longing for someone. Jimin's captivating vocal tone catches the ear.
Today at 5 PM, Jimin will release the self-produced content 'Exchange Album MMM (Mini & Moni Music) – Jimin' on his YouTube channel with RM.
