Jimin of 'BTS' has added another record to his name. He entered the Billboard 'Hot 100' chart with his new song.
On the 30th, Billboard announced the chart predictions through their official SNS. Jimin’s title track "Who" from his second solo album 'Muse' ranked 14th on the main song chart 'Hot 100' (as of August 3).
Jimin has entered the 'Hot 100' chart six times as a solo artist. Previously, he has charted with 'Smeraldo Garden Marching Band', 'Vibe', 'Set Me Free Pt.2', 'Like Crazy', and 'Angel Pt.1'.
Before his military enlistment, Jimin completed filming for NBC's 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon'. Considering that there were no official album promotions besides the performance video, entering the upper ranks of the 'Hot 100' proves Jimin's remarkable global popularity.
In addition, he swept various other charts. According to Billboard’s official SNS, Jimin’s "Who" also topped the 'Global 200', 'Global (Excluding US)', and 'Digital Song Sales' charts.
Meanwhile, "Who" is a hip-hop R&B genre song. It sings about a poignant situation and confusing emotions of longing for someone never met. The sexy and daring beat combined with Jimin’s captivating voice makes it a repeat-worthy track.
The song topped the 'Daily Top Song Global' chart on the 28th as announced by Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform, and has maintained the number one spot for six consecutive days (from the 23rd to the 28th).
