Singer Jeong Dong-won is making a comeback.
Showplay Entertainment announced on the 29th, “Jeong Dong-won will release a new song in November. He is scheduled to return to his fans.”
It has been about 1 year and 2 months since Jeong Dong-won last released a new song.
He was active with the mini-album ‘Collection Vol.1’ in September last year.
The upcoming song is a ballad in the Korean adult contemporary genre, featuring Jeong Dong-won’s characteristic poignant voice.
It showcases a more mature sound. Previously, Jeong Dong-won succeeded in an image overhaul with his sub-character JD1, releasing the Japanese version single ‘ERROR 405’ and entering the Japanese market.
Recently, he released the remake digital single ‘Take Responsibility’, reinterpreting the Untitle song, gaining much love for its addictive melody.
Jeong Dong-won is not only active as a singer.
He is also appearing as a regular member on the ENA show ‘City Z Goes to the Countryside’, showing his candid charm through rural life.
The agency urged, “Please pay attention to the new musical endeavors of Jeong Dong-won, who is emerging as a hexagonal artist, with his new song.”
