The movie 'The Universal Viewer' (directed by Kim Byung-woo) has completed preparations to meet audiences worldwide.

'The Universal Viewer' has achieved the significant feat of being pre-sold to 113 countries overseas. In addition to Asia, including Japan, Singapore, and Vietnam, it will meet global audiences in Europe, North America, and Germany.

Notably, even in Germany, where there have been few cases of Korean films being released in theaters, it is uniquely set for a theatrical release. The film will be released in Taiwan on the 23rd, followed by Indonesia on the 30th.

It will then open in Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, and New Zealand on the 31st, in the United States, Canada, and Vietnam on the 1st of next month, and in Cambodia on the 5th, and the Philippines on the 6th.

The film is a fantasy action piece. On the day the novel that has been serialized for over 10 years concludes, the world within the story becomes a reality. The only reader, Kim Dok-ja (played by Ahn Hyo-seop), struggles to survive in a world that has collapsed.

Recently, a media screening was concluded. It has received favorable reviews for its fresh material, fast-paced development, and exhilarating action. However, some critiques have emerged claiming that the film's deviations from the original setting have compromised the integrity of the main storyline.

Meanwhile, 'The Universal Viewer' will be showcased in theaters nationwide on the 23rd.
