Actors Jeon So-nee and Lee Yoo-mi return with an intense thriller.
On the 19th, Netflix revealed the script reading site for the new original series 'You Killed,' directed by Lee Jung-lim. Jeon So-nee, Lee Yoo-mi, Jang Seung-jo, and Lee Moo-saeng attended.
'You Killed' is a crime drama based on the Japanese novel 'Naomi and Kanako.' It tells the story of two women who decide to commit murder and get embroiled in a mysterious incident.
Jeon So-nee takes on the role of Eun-soo, an employee in a department store's luxury goods section. Eun-soo is a character living with childhood trauma and makes a significant decision to save her friend.
Lee Yoo-mi plays Hee-soo, Eun-soo's friend and a victim of domestic violence. She was once a promising children's book author but now endures hellish days because of her husband.
The synergy between the two actors is a point of interest. They plan and execute the murder of Hee-soo's husband to escape violence, enhancing the immersion with their superb acting skills.
Additionally, Jang Seung-jo plays Jin-pyo, Hee-soo's husband, who threatens them in his own way. Lee Moo-saeng becomes Jin So-baek, the head of Jin Trading Company, who acts as their helper.
Director Lee Jung-lim, known for his stylish mise-en-scène in works like 'Demon' and 'VIP,' will be in charge of this project, aiming to maximize suspense.
An official stated, "'You Killed' will rescue those trapped in a hellish reality and pose heavy questions to those who have turned a blind eye to them."
Meanwhile, 'You Killed' is scheduled to be released after filming and post-production.
