Police "Rev. Jeon Kwang-hoon, investigating all possibilities beyond incitement of insurrection"
The police announced that they are reviewing the possibility of applying charges beyond incitement of insurrection, which Rev. Jeon Kwang-hoon of the Sarang Jeil Church has been accused of.
On the 7th, a Seoul police department official stated at a press conference held at the Jongno police station in Seoul, "We are not only looking at one charge against Rev. Jeon," adding, "We are reviewing the legal principles and examining the charges according to the elements of the crime to proceed with the procedures."

Currently, Rev. Jeon has been reported 11 times for charges including incitement and propaganda of insurrection, as well as rioting, breaking and entering, and damaging special public property, related to the disturbance at the Western District Court.
The police have completed the investigations of 11 complainants and 12 witnesses and are currently analyzing the interrogation records of suspects involved in the disturbance at the Western District Court to trace any correlations.
A police official emphasized, "We plan to investigate with all possibilities open."

Meanwhile, the far-right group led by Jeon Kwang-hoon collected donations at a rally held on the 5th to protest the impeachment of former President Yoon Suk-yeol.
At the rally, a "donation song" encouraging contributions was played, and Pastor Jonathan remarked, "Since it's donation time, the rain has stopped, right? Because the money got wet. Let's truly show our support for Rev. Jeon Kwang-hoon, and, we really won with faith, so you all should give thanks in donations even more today."
Members of the Sarang Jeil Church wore name tags that read "Donation" and scattered throughout, collecting donations from participants.
