Jeon Hong-jun, the CEO of Attract, has been cleared of embezzlement charges related to a complaint filed against him. After a 7-month investigation, the police concluded that there was no evidence to support the allegations.
Attract announced on the 11th, “We have received a notice of investigation results from the Seoul Gangnam Police Station regarding the embezzlement case filed by three former members of Fifty Fifty.”
According to an official, the Seoul Gangnam Police Station recently decided not to indict CEO Jeon Hong-jun for embezzlement charges (no charges filed) and closed the case early without forwarding it to the prosecution.
Sena, Sio, and Aran filed a complaint against CEO Jeon Hong-jun for embezzlement through their legal representative on August 17th last year, claiming this as a basis to argue that they could not maintain their exclusive contract.
The agency stated, “We will hold accountable to the end those who instigated the filing of the complaint against members who do not understand the accounting principles of corporate funds, encouraging tampering (member poaching).”
Meanwhile, Attract plans to reorganize Fifty Fifty around Kina. The company intends to select the final second-generation members through public auditions both domestically and internationally.
