‘BLACKPINK’ Jennie has swept various music charts.
On the 7th, Jennie released her first solo studio album ‘Ruby’. The album reached number one on the real-time chart of the domestic music site Bugs.
It also topped the iTunes “Top Albums” chart in 21 countries/regions worldwide, including the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, and Albania.
The popularity in the Chinese-speaking regions is also strong. It claimed the daily digital number one spot on QQ Music and KuGou Music, with all tracks from the album ranking high on the charts.
The music video for the title track ‘Like JENNIE’ is also very popular. It ranked number one on YouTube’s trending videos just five hours after its release.
‘Ruby’ is an album that captures Jennie’s musical colors. It demonstrates her possibilities as a solo artist through diverse genres and concepts.
‘Like JENNIE’ is a song that expresses her confidence to shine proudly while not losing her unique personality. Jennie participated in the songwriting and composing.
