Jennie of 'Blackpink' has joined the JTBC variety show 'My name is Gabriel' (hereinafter 'Gabriel') as the last key player. She is set to appear as the new 'Gabriel' starting from episode 13.
Jennie will live a life unknown to everyone on the opposite side of the globe. Her appearances are scheduled for episode 13 (September 27) and episode 14 (October 4).
According to the production team, Jennie heads to a village near Rome, Italy. For 72 hours, she will live the life of 'Maria', a 1996-born guesthouse owner of the same age.
Jennie will perform various tasks typical of Maria's daily life, such as picking up guests, cooking, preparing for banquets, and conducting cooking classes. Viewers can look forward to seeing Jennie's unique charm.
On the 3rd, the team also released a character poster of Jennie. The photos behind her catch the eye, featuring Jennie interacting with peers and smiling while cooking.
Meanwhile, all eight 'Gabriels' alongside Jennie have been revealed. Starting with Park Bo-gum, other cast members include Park Myung-soo, Yum Hye-ran, Hong Jin-kyung, Ji Chang-wook, DEX, and Gabie.
'My name is Gabriel' is an observational reality show. The cast lives the lives of one of the 8 billion people in the world, under their name.
Starting from the 6th, DEX and Gabie will be featured as the new 'Gabriels'.
