Knife Possession and Additional Crimes Revealed

During the investigation, it was confirmed that A had been in possession of a roughly 30cm-long knife at the time of the incident. The police also uncovered additional theft charges against A for stealing identification cards and other items from unmanned vehicles in January and March of this year.

A police official stated that A is not classified as a minor subject to criminal law.

The fact that A is not a minor subject to criminal law means he is over 14 years old and possesses criminal responsibility.

Electric scooters are classified as motor-driven bicycles under the Road Traffic Act, making helmet use mandatory, and driving without a license is subject to punishment. Especially with the increase in safety incidents involving electric scooters among minors, the need for relevant enforcement and safety education is being emphasized.
