Reactions among netizens divided over Jeju Air's official SNS video
A video posted on Jeju Air's official SNS account has sparked intense debate among netizens.

On the 11th, a video titled 'Cheeky Flight Attendants' was uploaded to Jeju Air's TikTok account.
The short 10-second video captures three flight attendants dancing in sync with the music. The camera zooms in on each flight attendant as they dance, showcasing playful expressions by sticking out their tongues.
As of 2 PM on the 21st, the video has recorded over 2 million views, with more than 1,000 comments.

"Timing is inappropriate" vs "The flight attendants did nothing wrong"
In response, netizens have shown different reactions.
Some netizens criticize the video, stating that it was inappropriate to be released less than a year after the tragic incident at Muan Airport on December 29 last year.
At that time, Jeju Air flight 7C2216, which was heading to Muan Airport from Bangkok, Thailand, attempted an emergency landing on the runway but collided head-on with a concrete embankment, resulting in the deaths of 179 passengers, excluding 2 flight attendants out of 181 on board.
Those expressing critical opinions commented strongly, saying things like, "How long has it been since the Muan accident for them to be dancing and making a fuss?", "Please reflect, it hurts the bereaved families to see this," and "All I can do is sigh."
On the other hand, other netizens argued, "The flight attendants didn't cause the accident," "We can remember past events in our hearts," and "Should we just keep mourning because accidents happen continuously?" suggesting that it was unfair to direct blame at the individual flight attendants.

The sharp reactions among netizens also seem to stem from the fact that the cause of the Muan Airport tragedy has not yet been fully determined.
The Aviation and Railway Accident Investigation Commission recently mentioned the possibility that the pilot mistakenly shut down an operational engine after a bird strike.
The commission had planned to announce the investigation results to the bereaved families on the 19th, but it was canceled due to the families' objection that "it is inappropriate to make an official announcement on unconfirmed details."
