JDB Entertainment's CEO A and a member of their subsidiary girl group, B, are taking action against the person who spread rumors of an affair. On the 16th, A and B filed a complaint at the Mapo Police Station. The accused is the person who posted their photos on the internet. The charges include violations of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection (defamation) and violations of the Law on the Punishment of Stalking Crimes.

Recently, rumors of an affair between CEO A and member B were revealed on X (formerly Twitter). There was also evidence, including photos of them hugging and holding hands in an outdoor parking lot. CEO A is known to be a married man with two children, which shocked many.

The accuser is presumed to be a sasaeng fan. CEO A identified the location based on the photos and reportedly secured CCTV footage from nearby to provide to the police. JDB has also submitted a complaint requesting an investigation into the accuser.

As the controversy escalated, CEO A decided to resign. On the 17th, JDB stated, "We are closely verifying the facts regarding the recent issues" and expressed, "We sincerely apologize for the concern this has caused." A also stepped down from the position of CEO of the subsidiary EFG Music. The fallout has been significant, with affiliated artists quickly severing ties. The girl group 'Iho Teu' terminated their contracts with member Mina and two other members.

'Iho Teu' was the first artist signed by EFG Music last October, composed of three members: Mina, Amu, and Nego. They operated under the underground idol concept, exploring various genres while focusing on live performances.

Live idol 'Nana' also terminated her contract on the 16th. The following day, the band 'Hijack,' which had debuted less than a month earlier, announced its disbandment. Essentially, the entire lineup of the subsidiary has vanished, and EFG Music has closed its official website.

EFG Music stated, "The current CEO is in a position where it is difficult to directly participate in resolving the situation. Considering the circumstances comprehensively, EFG Music will temporarily suspend all activities."

The sustainability of the business is uncertain. "The internal staff is in charge of managing the situation and is working on it," they said, adding that "the direction of the organization, including whether the company will continue to exist, will be determined after internal review and legal consultation."

The company also acknowledged its inadequate management. "This issue stems from the company's internal management deficiencies and poor response," they stated, urging, "We earnestly request that you refrain from excessive criticism, the dissemination of false information, and personal attacks against the artists."
