JD1 has released a pre-listening clip for his new song. Showplay uploaded a pre-listening video for JD1's third digital single "Take Responsibility" on JD1's official SNS on the 9th. The 44-second clip conveyed the mood of the new song.
A portion of the track could be heard, featuring the lines: "But are you tired of me / Or did I do something wrong / You suddenly left me / And I became a wreck."
The clip heightened anticipation for the full music video. JD1 participated in the shoot wearing goggles, a bandana, and other retro items, evoking nostalgia for the past.
"Take Responsibility" is a remake of a song with the same title originally released by Untitle in 1996. JD1 has reinterpreted it in a new way, offering a distinct take from the original.
Meanwhile, JD1 is an independent persona created by Jeong Dongwon with the aim of exploring the K-pop genre. The single "Take Responsibility" will be released at 6 PM on the 12th.
