'NCT' Jaehyun received praise from the British media. The British magazine 'NME' praised Jaehyun's first solo album 'J' on the 29th (Korean time). "'J', an irresistible and sweet temptation," they titled.
They introduced the album. "It's a work filled with sensuous and enchanting R&B sounds. It explores changes in emotions to express romance," they explained. They continued, "In this album, Jaehyun creates a harmonious blend of high and low tones, layering them seamlessly. He unfolds a variety of vocal ranges."
They also mentioned Jaehyun's enhanced musical capabilities. "Participating in the album's production, he showcased various facets as a solo artist," they praised.
They shared their review of the title track 'Smoke'. "It's a sensuous hymn to captivating romance. Jaehyun's rich vocals are perfectly revealed," they shared. They marked, "The harmonies expressed freely, the boldly sung chorus, the beat, the daring bass, and the groovy string performance come together."

'J' includes eight tracks. It features various genres, including the Korean and English versions of 'Smoke'. It’s an album where you can fully enjoy Jaehyun's sensitivity.
Meanwhile, Jaehyun will release the 'Smoke' choreography video on his official channel at 10 p.m. on the 1st of next month.
