J-Hope’s New Song, Can’t Be Seen on KBS… ‘Killing It Girl’ Not Suitable for Broadcast

'BTS' J-Hope's new song has been deemed ineligible for broadcast on KBS. It received a disqualification ruling.

KBS announced the results of the music review on their website on the 11th. The review covered digital music, singles, and albums submitted for evaluation over the past week.

Two of J-Hope's new songs were flagged. The digital single "Killin' It Girl" in its solo version and the version featuring American rapper GloRilla.

KBS deemed the lyrics of the songs to violate Article 46 of the broadcasting review regulations (Restrictions on Advertising Effects), as they referenced specific brands that could be perceived as advertisements.

Even if a song receives a disqualification ruling, the producers can request a review by modifying or removing the flagged content. The production team can also file a request for review.

"Killin' It Girl" is a hip-hop track that candidly expresses the excitement of falling in love. It serves as the final track of J-Hope's solo single project.

Meanwhile, in this KBS music review, out of 125 songs, 117 were deemed eligible, while 7 were ruled ineligible. The remaining song was excluded from the review.
