MBC Radio announced on the 19th, “J-Hope has been confirmed as the first guest for the debut broadcast of ‘Close Friend, hosted by Lee Hyun.’ The first broadcast is scheduled for the 25th.” This lineup was made possible due to the deep connection between J-Hope and DJ Lee Hyun.

Both are senior and junior labelmates under Big Hit Music and have developed a long-standing friendship. A representative mentioned, “J-Hope will personally visit to celebrate and brighten up Lee Hyun’s first challenge as an official DJ.” The first broadcast will take place at the MBC Garden Studio, where Lee Hyun and J-Hope will have a candid conversation.

They will connect with fans via radio and share special episodes. The production team teased, “J-Hope will unravel his musical journey and experiences as a globally beloved artist, and will also talk about his friendship with Lee Hyun.” ‘Close Friend, hosted by Lee Hyun’ is a K-pop specialized music program that aims for profound communication with listeners through music.
