
'BTS' J-Hope revealed behind the scenes of his solo singles during an American radio show.
On the 30th (Korean time), J-Hope appeared on Apple Music's "The Zane Lowe Show." He had an interview with creative director Zane Lowe, reflecting on his solo single project. He released "Sweet Dreams" on March 7 and "MONA LISA" on the 21st, with one more song yet to be revealed.
J-Hope expressed, "I wanted to showcase my music as beautifully as possible for those waiting for it," and mentioned, "I naturally thought of a three-single project." Considering the emotional flow conveyed in the songs, he arranged the order. He noted, "I'm releasing the singles sequentially," adding, "My favorite song is the last single, so please look forward to it."
What was the collaboration process like with global artists? J-Hope collaborated with Cashmere Cat, Blake Slatkin, Pharrell Williams, and others. He shared, "I thought about what image I wanted to present to my fans," explaining, "The desired picture was music that I wanted to be popular and easy listening."
Through these collaborations, he believed he could achieve his musical goals. In particular, Pharrell Williams was someone he regarded as an idol. He expressed satisfaction, stating, "It was a very meaningful project."
The first to the third singles encompass various emotions and themes. J-Hope hinted, "There are more stories to tell in the future," exciting fans about his remaining musical journey.
