Ive has achieved the highest ranking for a foreign female artist on the Japan Oricon chart in 2025, surpassing its own best record.
On the 5th, Oricon revealed the latest chart (as of August 11). Ive's third Japanese album 'Be Alright' topped the Oricon weekly album ranking.
'Be Alright' sold approximately 165,000 copies in its first week alone, exceeding the first-week sales of their second Japanese album 'ALIVE' (101,916 copies).
In terms of Oricon, it recorded the highest first-week album sales among foreign female artists this year. This showcases their strong popularity not only in their home country but also in Japan.
The title track of the same name has also performed well. After being pre-released on the 16th of last month, 'Be Alright' ranked on various charts, including Billboard Japan’s 'Hot 100', 'Hot Shot Songs', and 'Download Chart.' This song carries a message of courage, encouraging listeners not to fear change and to move forward. It features an addictive melody along with the six distinct vocals of the Ive members.
The latest release includes a total of 5 tracks. It also features the Japanese drama OST 'Dare Me'. New Japanese versions of 'Ascendio', 'Blue Heart', and 'Wow' have been prepared as well.

Ive is also set to participate in a major music festival in Japan on the 15th of next month. They will make their debut appearance at the 'Rock in JAPAN FESTIVAL 2025'. Last year, they also performed at Japan's 'SUMMER SONIC 2024', showcasing their overwhelming skills and receiving praise for their unwavering live performance.
Meanwhile, Ive will release their fourth mini-album 'IVE SECRET' on the 25th at 6 PM on major music sites in Korea. The title track is 'XOXZ'.
