Singer HyunA (32) is suing malicious commenters ahead of her wedding.

On the 4th, 'At area' stated, "We have been preparing to sue for the continuous personal attacks, spreading of false rumors, and malicious distortions against HyunA."

However, until now, they have not taken a firm stand because HyunA did not want it. "At HyunA's request, we have consistently shown leniency," they explained.

Reportedly, HyunA has suffered from even harsher malicious comments after announcing her marriage to Yong Jun-hyung. The situation worsened especially after their wedding photos were revealed.

The agency stated, "We confirmed that after the marriage announcement, indiscriminate defamation reached an intolerable level."

They further explained, "The production and spreading of rumors that are completely unfounded have become severe after the release of the wedding photos," revealing the reason for their decision to take strong action.

Lastly, the agency emphasized, "For the minimum protection of personal dignity," and warned, "We will take strict legal actions without any warnings, leniency, or settlements against any malicious rumors moving forward."

HyunA and Yong Jun-hyung announced their relationship via Instagram in January. In July, they shared news of their engagement.

HyunA and Yong Jun-hyung will hold a private outdoor wedding on October 11th at Samcheonggak in Seoul.
