IVE has proven its global stature, listing three consecutive albums on major music charts. On the 19th (KST), the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) released the '2024 Global Album Sales Chart' on its website.
The 'Global Album Sales Chart' ranks based on the sales volume of physical albums and total album downloads sold worldwide each year. IVE's second mini-album 'IVE SWITCH' ranked 7th. After debuting two albums last year, they achieved new success once again.
They hit a career high. The first mini-album 'I’VE MINE' took 9th place, and the first full-length album 'I’ve IVE' came in 17th. 'IVE SWITCH' is an album that captures the concept of 'another me' using mythology. It is an extension of their team identity and a signal for infinite expansion.
With 'IVE SWITCH', they achieved 1.31 million copies sold in the first week (according to Hanteo chart), reaffirming their status as a 'million seller'.
Continuing this momentum, they will head to international festivals. IVE is set to appear at 'Lollapalooza Paris', held at Longchamp Racecourse in Paris, France, on July 20th.
Meanwhile, IVE recently made a comeback with their third mini-album 'IVE EMPATHY', securing 12 wins on music shows.
