Singer IU is returning with a remake album.
EDAM Entertainment announced on the 15th, "IU will come back with her third remake album 'Flower Bookmark 3'." It's been about 8 years since her last remake album was released.
The related cover image was unveiled on the same day, reminiscent of faded film photography. IU is seen leaning against an old public phone, quietly staring at the camera.
'Flower Bookmark 3' is the third album in IU's remake project 'Flower Bookmark' series. She has previously released 'Flower Bookmark' and 'Flower Bookmark 2', reinterpreting classic songs with her lyrical vocals.
This will be her comeback after approximately 1 year and 3 months since her mini album 6, 'The Winning,' released last year. She chose a remake album as her first release of the year, sparking anticipation for her unique emotional touch.
There is interest in which songs will be reborn with IU's voice. The tracks being remade include Yang Hee-eun's 'Autumn Morning,' Sanulrim's 'Your Meaning,' and Kim Gun-mo's 'The Rain Falls on the Sleepless Night.'
IU is actively engaged in various activities. Last year, she held a solo concert at the Sangam World Cup Stadium. In Netflix's 'YouTube: The Movie,' she took on two roles.
Meanwhile, IU's 'Flower Bookmark 3' will be released at 6 PM on the 27th.
