Singer IU expressed her love for her global fan base by personally meeting one of her notable American fans. Zeb LaTett (76), known as the "American grandfather of UAENA," had the opportunity to meet his idol. On the 1st, he shared photos taken with IU on his personal YouTube channel.
IU formed a heart in the center, while Zeb and his spouse completed the heart over their heads with IU in between. Smiles were abundant on all three faces.
This meeting occurred thanks to IU's initiative. Zeb was personally invited to IU's "Her World Tour Concert" held in Oakland, USA, on the 30th of last month.
Zeb reminisced about the encounter. "After the concert, we talked for 15 minutes. It was gracious, and IU looked beautiful," he praised her character.
The touching moments didn’t end there. "I received many gifts from IU, including a signed CD, keychain, bow tie, and a traditional Korean hairpin," he proudly shared.
"I felt like I was walking on clouds," he recalled. "IU hugged me, and I got to hug her back. It was like a dream. An unbelievable moment."
IU previously expressed gratitude to Zeb on social media. "Your videos make me happy. I want to make you happy too," she wrote.
She continued, "Thank you for your smiles," and extended an invitation to her concert in the USA. Ultimately, she kept her promise.
Global fans were in awe of IU's love for UAENA. They were moved by her dedication to individually caring for her fans despite the busy schedule of her world tour.
On another note, IU will continue her world tour in Los Angeles on the 2nd.
