ITZY is making a comeback next month. JYP Entertainment officially released a trailer video and scheduler for ITZY's new album "Girls Will Be Girls" on their social media on the 12th.
The trailer video felt like a movie. The members embark on a journey to save Ryujin, whose heart has stopped. They strive to make her heart beat again.
The ad director, Yoo Kwang-hyung, crafted it in a dramatized format. Ryujin, portrayed as an inflatable doll, regains her excitement by dancing with the members in the middle of the night.
A familiar face also appeared. JYP producer Park Jin-young made a cameo at the beginning of the video, bringing smiles as he showed up with a cassette radio in front of Ryujin.
The promotional scheduler heightened expectations for the comeback. They prepared a wealth of content, including track lists, concept photos, and spoilers.
It has been approximately eight months since ITZY's last comeback. They released their mini-album "GOLD" in October of last year and established themselves as the "representative performance queens of K-pop."
Meanwhile, ITZY will release "Girls Will Be Girls" on the 9th of next month at 6 PM.
