Singer IU has heightened expectations for her comeback by releasing a teaser video featuring the Minecraft universe.
EDAM Entertainment posted a track teaser for "The Dream of a Square," a song from her third remake album, "Kkot-Galpi 3," on IU's official SNS and YouTube channel on the 23rd.
The video is approximately 39 seconds long and stands out with its unique composition. All elements are shaped like square blocks, utilizing the format of Minecraft to convey the song's message.
It feels like playing a game, with the appearance of IU's character alongside the phrases "KKOT-GALPI3" and "IU The Dream of a Square." The character is shown decorating a room.
Some of the new song's audio was also previewed. Towards the end of the video, IU delivered the segment "That might be the dream of a square," showcasing a refreshing vocal style that raises anticipation for the full track.
This teaser video was produced with the support of Microsoft (MS) Minecraft in Korea. YouTuber Jamttul, who has 2.32 million subscribers, also participated in the production.
Meanwhile, IU will release "Kkot-Galpi 3" on the 27th at 6 PM, featuring a total of six tracks, including the title song "Never Ending Story."
