
Singer Lim Young-woong will debut his new song in a new variety show. Lim Young-woong will appear in SBS-TV's 'Island Man Hero', which will premiere on the 26th. The show captures the process of living a simple life in a remote island village away from the city. His new song will be used as the theme song for 'Island Man Hero'. Ahead of the release of his second studio album 'I'm Hero 2', viewers will be able to hear it in 'Island Man Hero'.
The production team of 'Island Man Hero' explained, “It will be released alongside a music video filmed against the backdrop of the blue sea," and added, "We aim to provide viewers with inspiration and healing.”
Lim Young-woong's acquaintances will also join this variety show. Science YouTuber Gweedo, Netflix's ‘Black and White Chef’ Im Tae-hoon (also known as the Metal Chef), and actor Lee Ik-kyung will join him as friends. Their unexpected chemistry will be a highlight of the show. After filming, there are rumors that they felt a sense of longing, saying, “The island felt like home,” after having a healing experience.
Meanwhile, 'Island Man Hero' can be watched on SBS at 9 PM on the 26th.
